The sculptural and figurative form of these candlesticks took inspiration from the bobbins and shuttles used by weavers on their looms.

Description

The weaving industry was prevalent throughout my hometown of Bradford on Avon and mastered by my long-time inspiration, The Shakers. The elegant forms of the industrious weaving looms and shuttles naturally lend themselves to homewares designed to be practical, tactile and beautiful.

After handcrafting each candlestick to order, it is then finished with three coats of a specialist oil. Before oiling, each piece is hand stamped with a Charlie Caffyn maker logo to personalise your piece for generations to come. It is then carefully packed and sent free of charge by courier to customers in the UK.

The Woolley candlesticks each hold a 2cm diameter candle (candles not included) and are available to buy as a pair in natural ash or walnut.

Finished with three coats of a specialist oil.
