Description
The Atworth lamp was designed and handcrafted by Charlie Caffyn, working alongside lighting designer Deb Wythe of Design in Progress.
The design of the Atworth desk light took its cue from the work of architects such as E. Fay Jones and those champions of architecture and design who use interlocking forms to celebrate structure. Stripping the frame back to its minimal construction leaves the desk lamp open and apparent to be enjoyed.
“This is a piece that I have wanted to bring to life for some time. In my first foray into lighting, I wanted to bring a new element to my collection which continues to uphold my core design principles: to create a standout piece that reflects my love of wood, architecture and also explores structure – a piece that will last for generations.”
Designed to complement the existing furniture range, this table lamp has a multi-directional head that can be adjusted and locked in any position, producing a directional light.
After handcrafting each lamp table to order, it is then finished with three coats of a specialist oil. Before oiling, each piece is hand stamped with a Charlie Caffyn maker logo, the date and a unique product number to personalise your piece for generations to come. It is then carefully packed and sent free of charge by courier to customers in the UK.
The lamp comes supplied with a LED G45 5.5W=40W E27 bulb. Energy rating A+. Only for use with an LED Bulb.
