Description
The Farleigh is named after a local village where I walk with my border collie ‘Jack’, derived from the Old English ‘fern’ + leah’ meaning ‘woodland clearing’.
After handcrafting each magazine rack to order (involving a multitude of stages, with a total of 19 joints and 16 individual pieces), it is then finished with three coats of a specialist oil. Before oiling, each piece is hand stamped with a Charlie Caffyn maker logo, the date and a unique product number to personalise your piece for generations to come. It is then carefully packed and sent free of charge by courier to customers in the UK.
The Farleigh won the 2019 Best Magazine Rack as selected by The Independent newspaper.
